03.05.15 The First Step

The First Step

When I found out the objective of the assignment, my mind instantly drifted to law which is the profession I wish to pursue.

Scattered Mind:

Research For the media project. : Magazine needs to be able to argue the different articles

Teenagers and their involvement in trying to take different steps into the real world: Pre law student, first edition, second edition pre med student, third edition, engineer student, fourth edition engineer student and then take it from there…. this would appeal to students overall all because now more and more students are geared towards what they specifically want to do in life and this could really open the doors for them ( Attend cases, mock trial etc).

Law magazine- 1 - Public defenders, prosecution, paralegals, private investigators, etc…

Main ideas of each one and create a sentence and create a personal quote and statements.

Column form one person to interview, “perspective for a highschooler what they can do”.

SLOGAN: Magazine written from highschoolers all perspectives, For highschoolers from highschoolers (talking to someone, teenagers helping teenagers) “Finding our path”

VOCATIONAL MAGAZINE

LAUREL IDEAS: Kids introduced to law and media, leads up to keep the interest, there are already being introduced and even through the public school systems.

ASHLEY AND JAIME

MAGAZINE LAYOUT: Less content, we no like words, no too wordy with columns. Breaks. Bigger quotes. Big colors. Image appealing = legally blond, sorta inspiration, nothing super serious no serious and professional colors : Blue NAVY, White,

Staged picture, MOCK TRIAL pictures Medium shot; USE TEENAGERS IN ACTUAL SHOT

Although much of this post may not make sense, this is how my mind works. The lack of parameters allows my mind to completely wander, and as the process began I realized that there is so many different options to explore. The beginning of the post just illustrates my two main ideas and from there I got the opinions from three different peers. Ultimately, the decision was up to me but by incorporating their ideas I feel that my idea was strengthened and over all more well rounded. They helped me fix and work on many details as well as narrowing down what I wanted to showcase during this project.
